Background Information:
Kumiko comes from a long line of hunters all the way back the Hunter and Gatherer tribes. She died at the young age of  28 in a wolf ambush somewhere in the countryside of Europa. When sent to Soul Society to live her afterlife she ended up in the more wild parts of Rukongai. Making it her tranquil home.
After years of living on her own she came a cross a group of black clothed men who chased  a towering monster with a white mask covering it face. Kumiko at the time was not aware it was a hollow. She jumped from a tree-branch and landed a hard dropkick on the Hollow its jaw. Much to the surprise of the Shinigami she fought it without the aid of a weapon. They stepped in to aid her.
After this event she was sent to study and learn the ways of the shinigami, having potential. Learning the ways of the sword, but excelling in spear-techniques. And also becoming quit adept in fist-to-fist combat. Her skills in kido moderate, but her instincts in combat honed well over the years.
During a mission to search for a renegade group of Shinigami in Heuco Mundo she ended up with her squad in big ordeal. Trapped in the clutches of a Vasto Lorde she lost many friends, comrades and others, but met Ishimaru and Tsukiyo during this time. Forming  a close bound after this ordeal.
After finding Daru she took a strange motherly liking to him. Learning him how to fight, survive and more she became a teacher, but more of a sort mother to him. Yet Daru himself will not admit that.

Personality:  Kumiko is a rather strong willed and the true of heart kind. She takes those that are weak, sick or of need in aid under her wing without question.  Known to motherly and caring for all around her. When those she protects are in danger she steps up to the front-lines to deal with the threat.

Mask appearance: Oval in shape, a wide sharp-teethed jawline extending till her ears, pointy round sockets, a pair of long antlers going back over heard head and a pair of deer like ears over her own.

Additional Powers:  Kumiko gains the ability to make the antlers that stick from her mask to expand, she uses this to storm at an enemy to ram them.

It takes the shape of herself but black and white with her lower body being that of a deer.

Shikai appearance:  A long hunting spear with an iron tip that has two curling edges outward next to its sharp point. A dark wooden shaft engraved with leaf patterns that glow softly green. And a iron round pummel at the base of the staff.

Shikai special ability:  Senrokuou holds the power to make the user ethereal for a brief moment to dodge an enemy's attack. Staying elusive and hard to catch. The leafs engraved in the shaft indicate how much power to use these effects is left.

Attacks:

Yuutai: (Ethereal body):  This move is used to quickly become like a ghost-like apparition and letting an attack pass through oneself. This takes little power to use.

Yamabiko (Tree Spirit):   Much like with Yuutai she becomes like a ghost and evades an attack, but also vanishes from her current location to appear at another at whim.  This move takes more power to use.

Shinrinyoku (Peaceful walk through the woods.):  Clad in her ethereal like state she appears and reappears from many angles at once. The tip of the spear is then covered in a layer of piercing reiatsu. This move is a powerful finishing move that swiftly strikes a foe at multiple points. This attack takes a lot of power.
