Literature Text
When roots die, the sky is empty.
When hearts die, the earth feels hollow.
When lights die, the void seems endless.
When laughs die, the sounds are shallow.
Yet when all off these die at once, there is nothing at all.
When hearts die, the earth feels hollow.
When lights die, the void seems endless.
When laughs die, the sounds are shallow.
Yet when all off these die at once, there is nothing at all.

Gold Leaf
I am alight, with love,
Fabled leaves have turned to gold,
With stacks of coins at their roots;
I am drawing a blank.
I lie my head in your lap,
As we sit beneath the eaves,
Dreaming of another world...
One where we can be together
Without fear or problems or worry,
A place where only peace lives...
We remain here until
Gilded foliage parts, showing us the way,
Running by the tarnished lakeside,
That mirrors ancient lore...
The only way out...
Is through.
Through the past,
Into the forest
Where your soul awaits,
Yet somehow, I know...
I will never find you.

The World's True Light
It fell upon a winter’s night
Two thousand years ago
A Babe was born, ’neath starry light,
To save us all from woe.
His Mother, Mary, gave Him birth
All in a cattle shed,
And wise men came across the earth
With gifts, as it is said.
They brought Him incense, gold, and myrrh,
And owned Him as their King,
For He was their Deliverer;
His praises they did sing.
The shepherds also to Him came
At an angelic word,
And praised the Saviour’s Holy Name,
For He was Christ the Lord,
That Child was born to save us all
Upon that starry night;
Though born inside a cattle stall,
He is the world’s true Light.
